Kobe is now the highest paid player at roughly $25 Million this year. I would call this a bargain. He has take the Lakers to 3 straight Finals and won 2 straight. Now a 4th straight trip to the finals seems inevitable. I would say the lakers organization makes alot off of all the merchandise they sell and tickets. Do you think the money Kobe is getting is fair? I mean, all he has done is go to 3 straight finals, none the less with help from teammates?
I think most players in the NBA are overpaid. That’s why it’s hard for teams to stay together. $25 Million is plenty. You can’t imagine how much he makes in endorsements.
